2) Treeing Tennessee Brindle
The Treeing Tennessee Brindle is a dog breed native to the Appalachian and Ozark mountain ranges in the United States. TTBs are intelligent and fast. They have an ancient instinct to hunt and trap their victims by forcing them up into a tree. The humans are notified when the prey has been trapped by barking. According to the AKC, the phrase “You’re barking up the wrong tree” refers to this type of hunting. Agility training, daily walks, hide-and-seek games inside, and chasing balls are all favorites of non-hunting TTBs.
