10) Saluki
The Saluki may seem to be underfed at first glance, but its lean, long build is well suited for speed and agility—qualities prized by ancient Egyptian pharaohs as a hunting dog. In fact, Salukis were mummified just like pharaohs themselves because they were so highly regarded. These days, the Saluki is only hunting for toys and affection, not mummies. The Saluki is fine in any climate and location as long as you are there.
